Where to locate
Which state, which industrial park, and what the region really offers in people, power, water and roads.
Why it decides the outcome
A plant is placed once and lives with its location for decades. The state sets the payroll tax, the labour pool, the distance to the border and the ports, and how reliable power and water will be. Two parks an hour apart can differ more than two countries do on paper, so the choice has to be made on the figures for the ground itself, not on the brochure.
What we look at
- Output, exports and foreign investment by state, each with its date
- The labour pool where you would hire: formal jobs, wages and informality
- Power and water: what the grid and the local supply can give a new plant
- Roads, rail, ports and border crossings, and the time from the plant to your customer
- Industrial parks: what is built, what is promised, and who the neighbours are
- Security, and the record of companies already operating there

Where foreign investment went, 2025
Foreign direct investment by state of destination, the ten largest. Investment is often recorded where the company registers its head office, which is why Mexico City leads; a plant’s state can be smaller than its real share. Each name opens that state’s room.
It starts in writing
Write to us: who you are, what you need and the decision in front of you. We read it and reply in writing: whether it fits, what we need from you, and the fee. We give no opinion until we have read your case, and every figure in our assessment carries its source and its date.
